**Storage & Shelf Life:**
Assuming moisture isn’t introduced into the pail and it’s properly sealed, it remains good for at least six months after opening. Each product is labeled with a ‘Best Before’ date, typically ranging from 12-18 months, depending on ingredients and color. Once opened, if handled and stored correctly, it’s recommended to use the fondant within six months to maintain optimal texture, taste, color, and aroma.

**Covered Cake Shelf Life:**
When applied correctly, fondant seals the cake, extending its shelf life. A boxed, fondant-covered cake at room temperature remains good for 7-10 days. However, if it contains a dairy filling, this duration may reduce to 3-4 days.
