Satin Ice Isomalt serves as a sugar substitute that remains crystal clear and does not crystallize when set. It’s an ideal choice for pouring into molds or shaping to craft unique creations.
Storage:
– Keep sealed in a dry place at room temperature between 50°F and 90°F.
Instructions:
1. Pour at least one cup of Isomalt into a medium stainless steel saucepan over low to medium heat.
2. After approximately five minutes, the Isomalt will begin liquefying. DO NOT STIR. Gently swirl the saucepan.
3. Bring to a boil and allow the temperature to reach 320°F.
4. Remove from heat and let it cool for 45-60 seconds to allow bubbles to settle.
5. Add desired color or flavor. Reheat if necessary.
WARNING: Isomalt is EXTREMELY hot, so handle with caution. It’s recommended to wear gloves, long sleeves, and closed-toed shoes when working with Isomalt to prevent the risk of burns.
